Austin, Texas – March 10, 2022 – The startup Feelbelt was selected as a finalist for the SXSW Pitch Event on Saturday, March 12th and Sunday, March 13th. Feelbelt convinced the jury and succeeded against 655 other companies from around the world. Feelbelt was selected with four other contenders in the “Entertainment, Gaming & Content” category and will present its eponymous product “Feelbelt” on Saturday. SXSW Pitch is the marquee event of South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference & Festivals (March 11-20, 2022) Startups Track, where leading startups from around the world showcase some of the most impressive technology innovations to a panel of hand-picked judges and a live audience. In Germany, Feelbelt has already established itself as a market leader in the field of HapticFeedback2.0. and delights numerous users in the sectors of gaming, movies, music and mental wellness.

Make the digital World feel real – The feelbelt with its pioneering technologie can reproduce frequencies 10 to 20,000 Hz in the form of haptic feedback, allowing you to ‘feel’ every beat in the music or every movement in any video game, especially in virtual reality. Feelbelt enables the fusion of the real and virtual worlds, making entertainment experiences of all kinds increasingly immersive. The belt is one of the first concrete products that is real in the field of metaverse and even makes this metaverse realizable. The Feelbelt can unfold its full potential here: Placed around the waist, ten integrated pulse generators transfer the sound of a game, song or movie to the body. The worldwide patented software links to the respective audio signal, converts it into Haptic Feedback 2.0 and transmits it to the body in sync with what is heard. Feelbelt GmbH is a MediaTech startup from Potsdam, Germany and was founded in 2019. Production takes place at local partners in Berlin and Brandenburg. For every Feelbelt sold, the company plants an oak tree.
