Emily Hartstone Selected for IAOTP’s Empowered Woman Award
Emily Hartstone, Founder & CEO of From the Hart Management LLC, was recently chosen to receive the Empowered Woman of the Year Award for 2023, given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Her exemplary role as a female entrepreneur and talented professionalism displays her influence, capability, and proficiency.
Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) is an honor, only a few women are chosen for this distinction based on their years of experience, professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, and contributions to their communities. Ms. Hartstone will be honored for this distinction at IAOTP’s 2023 Annual Awards Gala.

Emily Hartstone, MBA, CDE, CNE, CNC, PCA, has dedicated her career to helping organizations and motivating professionals to achieve their financial goals. Emily started her professional journey as an event and sales director for several well-known companies. She successfully organized the inaugural conference for a prominent Fortune 500 fitness company and efficiently managed their annual summit and global conference. Emily’s hard work and dedication paid off as she climbed the ranks at Magellan Management. In 2016, she was promoted to the position of Director of Events. Magellan Management primarily focused on non-profit and trade organizations. Over the next three years, Emily successfully transformed it into a full-service management and events firm. She took charge of operations and commercial growth and played a crucial role in establishing and implementing strategic objectives. After receiving industry recognition for her efforts, she was promoted to vice president in 2020. This promotion came after she successfully completed her qualifications in NANOE CNE, CDE, and CNC.
Emily took the leap of faith into entrepreneurship in 2022 after working in corporate America for a decade and founded From the Hart Management, LLC, a multi-level association and business management organization focusing on strategic planning, events, and sales and marketing. The company’s objective is straightforward: analyze, identify, advise, and execute. The team, comprised of award-winning strategists, marketers, analysts, accountants, planners, and advocates, is designed to exceed expectations and ensure success.
Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Hartstone has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her accomplishments. Earlier this year, Emily was awarded Top Inspirational Entrepreneur and Speaker of the Year 2023 by IAOTP. Emily will be honored at IAOTP’s annual awards gala, which is being held at the iconic NYC Plaza Hotel this December and will be featured on the famous Nasdaq Billboard in Times Square NYC. She also has received the honors of the 2023 Personify A2Z Professional Award, 2023 Global Business Recognition Award, and was named among one of Entrepreneur Harold’s 40 Under 40. Emily was also recently accepted into the prestigious Forbes Business Council.
Aside from her successful career, Emily has had to overcome and deal with many struggles with her health. She has been diagnosed with both Leukemia and Graves Disease, resulting in significant physical and emotional suffering. The repeated surgeries she underwent have also had a detrimental impact on her well-being. With a desire to serve as a beacon of hope for individuals facing similar challenges, she took the initiative to establish the EmPOWERThePATIENTS Foundation. Her mission is to provide funding for scientific research and efforts aimed at curing the root causes of chronic and rare diseases. Additionally, she seeks to establish a comprehensive resource and support network for individuals affected by these illnesses. In 2019, she was recognized as a Connect Association 40 Under 40 Honoree for her outstanding humanitarian contributions.
Emily embodies a people-first mindset. Her genuine passion for putting others before profit is the driving force behind our organization. Despite her daily battle with cancer, Emily refuses to let it hold her back. Instead, she turns it into a positive source of inspiration, spreading motivation as a sought-after speaker all over the country.
Looking back, Emily attributes her success to her perseverance, work ethic, and the mentors she has had along the way. When not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and two dogs. In the future, she hopes to inspire and influence those getting into the field. “I’m here to empower the next generation of change-makers with the strategy, tools, and guidance they need to change the world, one heart-centered decision at a time.”
